Intergenerational Forum: Intergenerational Practice in Arts & Wellbeing Services

Join us for a free online gathering, in partnership with Time & Talents, an informal space for arts & wellbeing providers to meet and share ideas around developing intergenerational practice in their services.

Connecting generations can be a powerful and inspiring source of creativity, wellbeing and community.

There is so much fantastic work being done across the arts and wellbeing sectors to connect younger and older people, help combat social isolation and provide vital opportunities for intergenerational relationships to flourish.

This forum is an informal space for peer sharing and learning. We meet quarterly and anyone who is interested in developing their intergenerational practice is very welcome to join!

This forum is for arts and wellbeing providers who want to:

  • reflect on learnings from intergenerational projects
  • celebrate the successes
  • discuss the challenges
  • meet other people interested in sharing & developing intergenerational practice in their work
  • and discuss ideas for how we can create more opportunities for intergenerational connections going forward.

We are delighted to be working in partnership with Phoebe Grudzinskas (Delivery Manager at Time & Talents) who will be co-facilitating the discussion.

Join us to share ideas, refine your intergenerational practices and meet other progressive people who are striving to innovate and excel in services for older and younger people.

About Time & Talents:

Time & Talents is a lively, busy community organisation based Rotherhithe, Canada Water and Bermondsey. At Time & Talents, we want to create a world where everyone feels part of a community – and where nobody is left out, or left behind. We have a history stretching back 135 years. Since day one we’ve been supporting local people of all ages, and bringing people together for mutual support, fun and friendship. With a wide range of activities at our centres, along with volunteering and schools’ outreach projects across local neighbourhoods, we work to help everyone feel part of a community.
