Intergenerational Forum: Intergenerational England Report Launch

Join us for a free online gathering, hosted by Intergenerational England, as we launch and present findings from our first Intergenerational England Report – sharing brand new data, stories, and insights that highlight both the need for, and the power of, an intergenerational approach to society.

This session will explore what it means to build an intergenerational society, where each of us has a role to play. We’ll open the conversation to ask: What’s next? And how do we take those steps together?

The report offers a bold yet practical model for change, informed by conversations with communities, sectors, and systems across England.

About the Intergenerational England Report Launch:

Whether you’re working in housing, health, education, the arts, local government, or community organising – this space is for you.

You’re invited to:

  • Hear from the Intergenerational England team about the journey so far
  • Learn about the findings, stories, and data gathered from across the country
  • Reflect on the challenges, gaps, and opportunities for intergenerational work
  • Contribute your voice to the conversation on what happens next
  • Connect with others building intergenerational understanding into their work

About Intergenerational England:
Intergenerational England exists to embed intergenerational thinking across everyday life – in policy, practice, and community. We work to break down age-related barriers and connect generations through shared systems, spaces, and solutions.

From influencing national strategy and launching taskforces on housing, health, and the workplace, to running community workshops and creative projects – our work is shaped by both lived and learned experience.

Through research, advocacy, and action, we’re building a collective response to today’s social, economic, and health challenges – where intergenerational collaboration is not an add-on, but a central approach.

About the Intergenerational Forum:

This forum is an informal space for peer sharing and learning. We meet three times a year and anyone who is interested in developing their intergenerational practice is very welcome to join!

This forum is for arts and wellbeing providers who want to:

  • reflect on learnings from intergenerational projects
  • celebrate the successes
  • discuss the challenges
  • meet other people interested in sharing & developing intergenerational practice in their work
  • and discuss ideas for how we can create more opportunities for intergenerational connections going forward.

Join us to share ideas, refine your intergenerational practices and meet other progressive people who are striving to innovate and excel in services for older and younger people.
