Join us for a free online gathering, in partnership with Celebrating Age Wiltshire (CAW): Creative Conversations groups for men aged 65+.

The ‘Communities of Practice Forum: Exploring Older Men’s Participation in Arts & Wellbeing’ is an informal space for arts and wellbeing providers to meet and share ideas around developing better support and engagement for older men in arts & wellbeing services.

The July Forum session will be led by Celebrating Age Wiltshire (CAW): Creative Conversations groups for men aged 65+.

Presenters:
Rebecca Seymour – Creative Producer, Celebrating Age Wiltshire (CAW)
David Davies – Creative Facilitator for Creative Conversations groups
David Walker – CAW participant, older advisor and member of Melksham Men’s group

The session will focus on:

  • how CAW established the Creative Conversations model
  • how and why the men aged 65+ strand was developed
  • co-creation and the outcomes so far – both for wellbeing and creativity.

As part of the session there will be breakout groups with a chance to experience a sample Creative Conversations activity.

Please bring an object or a photo along to the session that relates to you, or says something about who you are that you are happy to share with others in the breakout group.
