'LGBTQ+ History and Intergenerational Practice: Getting the Balance Right' Resources

Resources from our 'LGBTQ+ History and Intergenerational Practice: Getting the Balance Right' Forum discussion

Delivered in partnership with Dr Richard Vytniorgu and LGBTQ+ co-researchers from the IncludeAge project, in conversation with representatives from the Queer Heritage South project, the forum discussion: explored how LGBTQ+ history can be used to facilitate and enrich intergenerational practice among LGBTQ+ people; discussed the pros and cons of basing intergenerational practice around LGBTQ+ history; shared tips and advice for including historical themes when engaging with LGBTQ+ population groups; and shared information about existing LGBTQ+ projects that involve queer histories.

Here are the resources that were shared during the session, with kind permission from Dr Richard Vytniorgu, IncludeAge and the Queer Heritage South project:

Many thanks again to Dr Richard Vytniorgu and the panellists from IncludeAge and Queer Heritage South for sharing their knowledge and expertise, and for all of their help in devising and delivering the Forum discussion.
