Greenwich Dance is the home of dance in South East London. An extraordinary meeting place for artists, audiences and communities; we make the space for great dance to happen through incubation, creation, participation and performance. We challenge perceptions and change lives through excellence and innovation. Greenwich Dance aims to set the standard for dance locally, nationally and internationally.

Every term, Greenwich Dance runs classes at The Borough Hall in a variety of dance styles for Beginners and Intermediate level. From Ballroom and Ballet, to Lindy Hop and Zumba there is something for everyone.
Learn a new style, improve your dance skills, get fit and have fun. All our classes offer quality teaching from professional dancers and choreographers.
There are no membership fees and concessionary rates are available for Greenwich residents with a Greenwich One Card, plus over 65s, full-time students and those on Jobseekers Allowance or disability benefits.
For Over 55s
Greenwich Dance provides classes for those aged 55+. The sessions use creative dance to help improve stamina, balance, coordination and confidence. Stay active and try something new in a fun, sociable environment.
“Since taking retirement my weekly classes have been a stable and securing feature of my life… The classes give us you the opportunity to become creative within the choreographic process and provides social contact with the others in the class, some of whom have become good friends outside the class.”
Dancing To The Music Of Time
Dancing to the Music of Time is our flagship performance group for Over 55s, every Friday 14.30–15.30 at Greenwich Dance. Work with a professional choreographer to create work and perform at public events. If you want to prove that age is nothing but a number, this is the class for you.
