Liquid Crystal - Tate Exchange

The culmination of a week-long intergenerational music and dance collaboration and experimentation, created as part of Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance’s CoLab festival.

Liquid Crystal - Tate Exchange

An intergenerational music and dance collaboration as part of Trinity Laban’s Colab festival

Visitors to Tate Exchange are invited to observe or participate in a workshop with a diverse participant group of Trinity Laban music and dance students and older adults from Trinity Laban’s Inspired not Tired programme, as they share the results of a week-long experimental collaboration.

Taking the theme of production and inspired by two major works at Tate (Babel, 2001 by Cildo Meireles and The Crystal Quilt, 1985-87 by Suzanne Lacy), the group will share the process of creating a human kinetic sculpture that can be creatively transformed and manipulated.

Liquid Crystal will explore the formal performance structures and more spontaneous ways of working with group improvisation to create an ever evolving installation of sound and movement.

This event is part of Trinity Laban’s CoLab Festival,  a two week creative learning experience where students from both music and dance disciplines share new ideas through collaborative projects.

Find out more

Well this is a nice opportunity for the students who really wanted to do something different in music and dance. As such festivals should be organized often so that new talent would come up with their creativity. All the very best for stuff on website and the participants.

What do you think Liquid Crystal - Tate Exchange is all about? In case you don't have any idea then you can look at this site and read some stuff or you can go for other online sources for better educational stuff for us. I can have for them this year.
