Best Practice

We strive to raise the bar in services for older people by sharing innovation and best practice, developing the sector by providing free training and workshops for service providers and practitioners.

We deliver free quarterly workshops alongside the Age Action Alliance Creative Arts Group providing practical support for coalition members, where thought leaders and service innovators can share their expertise and models of best practice with providers and practitioners from across the sector.

We create toolkits, resources and developed practice guidelines from each workshop to disseminate and share best practice with coalition members, and promote as open source documents for wider implementation across the sector.

Over the last four years, we have delivered 15 free workshops attended by 607 delegates on topics including creative evaluation, fundraising, social prescribing, intergenerational practice, managing challenging behaviour, and developing closer relationships with CCGs.

Our next free quarterly workshop will be announced here soon so please check back for updates.
